Enniscorthy Golf Club is now a Fáilte Ireland "Quality Assured Golf Course"
Ireland is renowned all over the World as a wonderful golfing destination and famous for its friendly welcome. As part of Fáilte Ireland's commitment to driving competitiveness in the Irish golf industry, the 'Quality Assured' accreditation scheme under the National Standards Framework for Golf Clubs ensures that the Irish golf experience for visitors meets their expectations. Enniscorthy has committed itself to maintain and exceed the requirements of this accreditation. The standard also offers golf clubs a number of distinct advantages including free listings on the domestic and international Discover Ireland web sites under the 'Time to Play' promotion and access to key Fáilte Ireland business supports. The independent assessment of our amenities and services for visitors is an assurance to our visitors that they can expect first class facilities and enjoy a well maintained course when they visit us.
Thanks to the combined efforts of Course, the Club Professional, Catering and Administration, Enniscorthy golf club has acquired this coveted 'Shamrock' symbol.
The Annual Remembrance Service for Past Members of Enniscorthy Golf Club
This service will be held on Friday April 5th in the Clubhouse at 8 pm. We will also remember in a special way all of our members who passed away in 2012/13 and all members and relatives are welcome to attend. Fr James Nolan & Rev Roger Harmsworth will be officiating.
Annual Subscriptions for 2013
Members who have not already made arrangements to pay their annual subscription for 2013 are asked to do so in the office as soon as possible. Subscriptions were due on or before the 31st of March. John Casey, Hon. Treasurer, will be in the Office next Saturday April 6th from 12:30 pm to 5 p.m. to facilitate members wishing to make payments.

Enniscorthy Ladies
Bitter Arctic winds and intermittent snow showers did not deter the Enniscorthy ladies who competed in large numbers in both 15 Hole Competitions this week. Tuesday, 26th March, sponsored by "Flowers by Grace", a Three Person Team event, was won by: Annette Cullen (15), Helen O Reilly (24), Joy Conville (24) 65 Points.
In second place:Ursula Cousins (16), Monica O'Connor (23) Joan Dunbar (24) 60 Points.
Thursday, 28th March, the Three Person Scramble,in aid of Breast Cancer, Ireland, was very well supported and all proceeds from entries and donations will be forwarded to Breast Cancer.
The winners were: Ann Kenny (31), Monica Murphy (35), Lucy Bolger (36) Nett 32. In second place:Breda Morrison (24), Meta Cummins (33), Brid Kavanagh (28) Nett 37.67
Next Tuesday's 16 Hole V-Par Competition will be sponsored by Kiltrea Pottery -- Presentation at 8 p.m.

The cold dry weather allowed plenty of play this week in Enniscorthy Golf Club though players needed to be well wrapped up to survive it. It was a busy week of activity with the return of our weekly 9 hole singles competitions on Wednesday, a 3 person team event on Good Friday and an Open four-ball over the weekend sponsored by Luke Finn.
