Why join Enniscorthy Golf Club?

When asked, "why did you choose to join Enniscorthy Golf Club over the other golf clubs in the region?" most members and applicants respond "besides the great value for money it's the friendliness of the members and relaxed unpretentious atmosphere that prevails within the club". Every member has pride in their club and following several excellent major prestigious golfing victories the club has truly found its place on the golfing map. No more so is this pride expressed than with our excellent junior section. This section has gone from strength to strength due to hard work of Junior Convenors over the past number of years to the present incumbents.

Is there a choice of membership?

Enniscorthy Golf Club membership comprises in the main of a Men's section and a Ladies section. There are several other categories and types of membership including Juniors aged between 10 & 18, Student; aged over 18 years in full – time education and Juvenile aged 8 to 10 and who are only entitled to use of the course in the company of an adult. Other types also include 5-Day, Distant (80km), Family, Overseas, Corporate and Honorary membership. We are also encouraging Pavilion Membership. Procedure & Criteria

Enniscorthy Golf Club is currently open for applications for membership within all categories. Download our Membership Application Form  here. Once completed and signed, please return the form marked for the attention of: The Honorary Secretary, Enniscorthy Golf Club, Knockmarshall, Enniscorthy, Co.Wexford.

Applicants must be proposed and seconded by two full members who have been full members of the Club for at least five years. An interval of not less than four weeks shall elapse between nominations and consideration for election.

How much?

Entrance fee has been suspended for the first 50 new applicants for full adult membership or until April 30th 2012. The annual subscription for 2012 remains at €671, exclusive of G.U.I. levy, (€19), (or) I.L.G.U. levy (€25). There is a €50 Social Contribution of which can be used at the bar or in the restaurant by 31st December 2012 and €50 towards course improvements. Lockers cost €13 annually when available. There is also a reduction in the subscription for husband and wife of €100 less than the two paying as single full members.
